Generally, most of the people in our country become addicted to drinking alcohol. Because of this, its worst effect in our body falls on the kidney. At the same time, excessive consumption of meat also causes complaints in the kidneys.

Each year the committee sets a theme for World Kidney Day. This year the theme of World Kidney Day 2022 is 'Kidney Health for All'. This means that kidney health is essential for everyone.




World Kidney Day was first celebrated in the year 2006. It was started in 66 countries by the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and the International Federation of Kidney Foundations. After this, every year the Joint Steering Committee celebrates World Kidney Day on the second Thursday of March. The purpose of this day is to prevent kidney diseases and keep the kidneys healthy.




Kidney disease is a silent killer, which slowly develops in the body. If its symptoms appear after kidney failure. This condition can be fatal. Therefore, to prevent kidney damage, some things have to be taken care of and some tests have to be done regularly.
