UK’s Prince Andrew has been minced of his military roles and Royal Patronage, as the second son of the British Royal Family fights a lawsuit, in which he is accused of sexual abuse. Britain’s Royal Family has claimed that the second son of Queen would no longer be called “His Royal Highness.”
With the assent of Queen, The Duke of York will not hold any public office or perform any public duty and his military affiliations and Royal Patronages have been returned to the Queen. Buckingham Palace has released a statement claiming that the Duke of York will fight the lawsuit as a Private Citizen. The Prince would be bereft of all Royal connections, as his lawyer was unable to persuade the US Judge to clear the lawsuit against him, filed by Virginia Giuffre accusing him of Sexual abuse at the age of 17.
About the claims of an accusation made by Giuffre, the Duke of York has denied the allegation and has stated that he never forced her to have sex or sexually abuse her at the home of Epstein in London. Epstein was the former partner, was associated with Ghislaine Maxwell, and was charged with sex trafficking.
