The Odisha government once again reached the Supreme Court regarding the border dispute with Andhra

The Odisha government has filed a fresh petition in the Supreme Court seeking a clear verdict on the quota issue to resolve the inter-state border dispute with neighboring Andhra Pradesh.

The petition also states that the court will have to declare all the villages of Kotia under the jurisdiction of Odisha. It has also been requested that the court should issue a direction so that the state government officials can work freely in the area without any hindrance. The Odisha government has also requested the Supreme Court to order the Andhra Pradesh authorities not to enter the border area. The Kotia organization and the Koraput Development Council have agreed to this decision of the Odisha government.
