The formal end of the Korean War

North Korea and South Korea, two countries that have been embroiled in war for years, have finally declared an end to the war.

North and South Korea, the United States and China have agreed in principle to declare a formal end to the Korean War.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in said talks between the two countries would begin on North Korea's demands.

The Korean War, which lasted from 1950 to 1953, ended with a ceasefire, not a peace agreement. From then on, this war started.

North Korea naturally has the support of China, while South Korea has the support of the United States. Against this backdrop, the war between North and South Korea has finally come to an end.
