Rising cases of Omicron variant raised concern, more cases reported in Delhi


In India too, the cases of Omicron variant seem to be increasing in different states. On the other hand, 10 new cases of Omicron variants have been reported in Delhi. At the same time, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said on Friday that after 10 new cases of 'Omicron', a new form of corona virus, were reported in the national capital, its total cases have gone up to 20. Of these, 10 people have been discharged from the hospital. Jain said that out of the 40 samples that were sent for genome sequencing, 'Omicron' has been confirmed in 10.




Let us inform that on Thursday itself, a spurt in cases of coronavirus infection was registered in Delhi. 85 new cases of corona were reported, after which the total number of infected here increased to 14,41,935. At the same time, the corona infection rate had also increased to 0.15 percent. New cases and infection rates were the highest in the last five months. Earlier on July 8, 93 new cases were reported while the infection rate was 0.15 percent on that day.
