The Polish prime minister expects a speedy decision from Germany over the reexportation of Leopard 2 tanks manufactured in Germany to Ukraine.
"I hope that this answer from Germany comes fast since the Germans are delaying, avoiding, and acting in a difficult to comprehend manner," Mateusz Morawiecki said at a press conference.
Morawiecki also said Poland will seek the EU for reimbursement for the cost of the units it intends to deliver to Kyiv, calling the measure a "test of goodwill".
His remarks came out shortly after the Polish government filed a formal request to Berlin for the delivery of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.
