Omicron's second case came to light in Delhi




The second case of a new variant of Corona 'Omicron' has come to light in Delhi. Here the genome sequencing report of a traveler from Zimbabwe has come out Omicron positive. It is being told that South Africa is also included in the travel history of the person. With this, so far 33 cases have been reported in India from the new variant of Corona. Out of the people who came from abroad in Delhi, 27 people were found corona positive. Their samples were sent for genome sequencing. So far, the report of 25 people has come negative. While two people have been found Omicron positive.

So far, 9 cases of Omicron have been reported in the country to 25 people. Of these, 7 cases were found in Maharashtra and 2 in Jamnagar in Gujarat .The cases found in Maharashtra, three cases have been found in Mumbai and 4 cases in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. The age of the infected patients found in Mumbai are 48, 25 and 37 years. These three nationals have come from Tanzania, UK and South African country. All the four cases found in Pimpri Chinchwad came under contract with a Nigerian woman.
