Lata Mangeshkar passes away at 92, she was tested positive on 8th January 2022, however, her health improved with time and on 28th January she was taken off the ventilator. After some time her health deteriorated again hence, she was again admitted to the hospital on 5th February and was the second time on the ventilator. But unfortunately, she couldn't breathe on 6th February 2022 and died from multiple organ dysfunction syndromes after being covid positive and undergoing 28 days of treatment at the breach candy hospital, Mumbai, India.
Lata Mangeshkar was born on 28th September 1929, she was widely known for her singing and music composing. And because of this, she was also given the title of "Nightingale of India", "Voice of the Millennium" and "Queen of Melody".
Her Successful career
She has contributed fabulously to the Music Industry in different genres like Filmi, Classical, Ghazals, Bhajans, Folk, Bengali music. Plus she has been honored with countless awards including National Film Awards, BFJA Awards, Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer.
She has also produced four films named Vadal(Marathi, 1953), Jhaanjhar(Hindi, 1953), Kanchan Ganga(Hindi, 1955), Lekin(Hindi, 1990).
A big loss
Her death is a terrible loss to the music industry of India, it is the end of one era. She will forever reside in our hearts, and her songs will always be remembered and hummed by upcoming generations as well.
