The Department of Defense has provided information on these drug actions. The operation was carried out in the sea of ​​Gujarat. The boat was seized in a joint operation by Gujarat ATS and Indian Coast Guard. A total of 77 kg of heroin worth about Rs 400 crore was seized from the boat.


There were six sailors in the boat. All of them have been arrested. The boat was brought to Jakhau port in Kutch and further investigation is underway. Details about this have been given from the official Twitter hand 'PRO Defense Gujarat'. The boat, named Al Hussaini, was carrying fish from the Indian Ocean to Pakistan.


Meanwhile, 3,000 kg of drugs worth Rs 21,000 crore were seized in a raid at Mundra Port in Gujarat in September. The operation was carried out by a DRI team at Mundra Port. A search of containers from the Iranian port of Abbas turned up 3,000 kilograms of drugs. There was also an attempt to mislead by saying that there was talcum powder in the container. It was revealed that the drugs were shipped from Afghanistan and delivered to Gujarat via Iran and Pakistan.
