Hollywood actor Ryan Grantham has been sentenced to prison for murdering his mother

Hollywood Actor Ryan Grantham, who worked in the films like 'Riverdale' and 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid,' has been sentenced to 14 years for the murder of his mother. He will not get any parole in these 14 years. On September 21, British Columbia Supreme Court Justice Kathleen Kerr in Vancouver handed down the sentence.

LEO Award nominee Ryan Grantham shot and killed 64-year-old mother Barbara White in her Vancouver home on March 31, 2020. He had also surrendered before the police after this murder. He is charged with second-degree murder, which carries a sentence of 10 to 25 years without parole.

There was a plan to kill the Canadian Prime Minister

Ryan also planned to kill Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau after his mother's murder. Police found three guns, Molotov cocktails, ammunition, camping gear, and a map of Ottawa in Ryan's car. The Prime Minister's family lives in Rideau Cottage. Ryan wrote about it in his diary. However, he turned himself into the Vancouver police after his mother's murder.
