The statement said that Biden and Putin have agreed to the summit proposed by Macron. In his proposal, Macron has talked about discussing security and strategic stability in Europe. However, a condition has been placed with this proposal that this meeting will take place only if Russia does not attack Ukraine.
The agreement came after Macron held two telephonic conversations with Putin on Sunday, as well as contacted Biden about the situation in Ukraine.
