Australia slams Biden's administration and claims, "Australia need not be told what to do."

Australia slammed Biden's administration for interfering in internal matters and trying to dictate the country's foreign policies. Australia doesn't need to be told or thwarted to do anything by the U.S. administration. The United States is interested in a proposal being scrutinized by India, a "Quad" alliance member. According to this proposal, Russia would be able to use its SWIFT-style financial network for bilateral payments with the Asian country.

According to information, the Modi government is currently scrutinizing the proposal and carving out various suggestions to utilize Russia's central messaging system and implement the transaction with Moscow as India has increased its import of oil and weaponry.

The idea was declared as Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov visited India on Thursday for a two-day visit. The Biden government and the Morrison administration held high-level trade conversations on the Indo-Pacific policy in Washington.

The Quad alliance between the United States, Australia, India, and Japan is part of that plan. When U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo was asked about the Russia-India banking alliance and its consequences for the Quad, she said, "such schemes would be very upsetting if executed."
