App disappears from 10 lakh accounts in one fell swoop, is it in your mobile too?

Downloading an app on mobile is very expensive for a retired assistant magistrate. It has been revealed that a retired assistant faujdar from Chanakwadi in Paithan taluka was robbed of Rs. A case has been registered against an unknown person in Paithan police in this regard.


According to the information received, Tukaram Chhaganrao Mohite, a retired Assistant Faujdar of Chanakwadi police station in Paithan taluka, searched Google for the SBI app on his mobile and got the helpline number of SBI Bank. While calling this number, Mohite got a call within minutes as an SBI Bank official spoke.



The same person called Mohite and asked him to download an app called any desk on his mobile, asked for his ID code number, and embezzled a total of Rs 10 lakh 24 thousand deposited in his bank account online. Mohite rushed to the Paithan police station after realizing that the money had run out from the bank.

At this time, police inspector Kishor Pawar of Paithan police station immediately informed the bank and asked Mohite to block his account. So two lakh 45 thousand were saved. A case has been registered against an unidentified person under sections 420, 66, and 66 of the Information Technology Act.
