Adjournment of Lok Sabha- 16th December 2021


A heavy ruckus in Lok Sabha on 16th December 2021 led to postponment of further proceedings until 2pm.



The Chaos

“The minister involved in Lakhimpur Kheri case must resign, he is a criminal” says Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha, Which resulted in the Pandemonium.

Lok Sabha Speaker was Om Birla and despite his major efforts to slow down the uproar all the opposition leaders became aggressive and he had to adjourn Lok Sabha until 2pm. Sloganeering and waving of Placards were done. Hence, demanding the sack of Union Minister Ajay Mishra. Members of the Lok sabha trooped into the slogans raised that time. The situation was almost uncontrollable.




Responses

Plea to resign Minister of Union State affairs of India, Ajay Mishra, created disorder even in Uttar Pradesh assembly.


Loud Voices were heard on the streets of Lucknow to remove Ajay Mishra Teni. Congress was seen opposing Ajay Mishra Teni and sloganeering to dismiss him in connection with the Lakhimpur Kheri violence done against farmers and Journalists.


“Teni must be removed” said mallikarjuna, senior congress leader.


Shiv Sena also not backstepped to plea for the resignation of Ajay Mishra Teni.


“Even the SIT conspiracy report is clear now” said Sanjay Rawat, Shiv Sena MP. In addition to this he said, “If prime Minister didn’t do this then his bathe in Ganga failed”


“Teni should be dismissed and these type of ministers must be imprisoned” stated Sanjay Singh, Member of Parliament.




“Our attitude on the suspension of Teni is very much clear” said Pralhad Joshi, minister of Parliamentary affairs of India.


Dereck O’Brien felt Ajay Mishra Teni is now in untenable position as the opposition have stepped up to dismiss Teni in lakhimpur violence case, and also called on the government to “Sack MOS Home”


Statement of PM Narendra Modi

However, “Ajay Mishra Teni’s resignation depends upon the investigation of the supreme court” asserted, PM Narendra Modi. Therefore, the culmination of the violence in Lakhimpur Kheri plus the hearing of the sloganeering by various ministers is yet to be declared.
