Zelensky urges Western countries to impose a travel ban on Russians

Ukrainian President Voldomyr Zelensky has urged the Western countries to impose a blanket ban on all Russians; Russia has said that this proposal has gone "off the charts" and was seen as "extremely negative" in Moscow.

The President of Ukraine has told the Washington Post that "the most important sanctions are to close the borders because the Russians are taking away someone else's land."

Russian spokesman Dmitry Peskov has told the reporters, " The irrationality of thinking in this case of the charts, any attempt to isolate Russians or Russia has no prospects."

Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has tweeted that it was "time to end tourism from Russia." " Visiting Europe is a privilege, not a human right."

Even in Paris, Russians can no longer visit the Chateau de Vincennes, an important tourist attraction. All these travel bans come as Russia is carrying out a military invasion in Ukraine.
