Vladimir Putin: Putin took 'this' explosive step regarding Ukraine!

As the clouds of war darken on the Russia-Ukraine border, Russian President Vladimir Putin has immediately addressed the nation and made a big announcement.

Russia's President Vladimir Putin has announced that the two rebel-held eastern states of Donetsk and Luhansk will be recognized as independent states. Therefore, Russia's intentions for the partition of Ukraine have become clear. In a speech to the nation late Monday night, according to Indian time, Putin said that Russia has a historic right over Ukraine. Meanwhile, Putin addressed the nation for about an hour. He later signed an agreement on friendship and aid with rebel leaders in Ukraine.

Putin will sign an order recognizing the rebel provinces of Ukraine as independent states. French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Schultz have strongly condemned Russia's decision. The European Union (EU) has warned that Russia could impose sanctions on Russia if it declares a rebel stronghold in Ukraine a separate country. Putin informed both leaders of his decision over the phone. "We are ready to show what real anti-apartheidism is," Putin said.

Meanwhile, the United Nations has expressed concern over Russia's unilateral decision to undermine Ukraine's sovereignty and has issued a stern warning. Ukraine has called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on the issue. On the other hand, tensions are rising on the Russia-Ukraine border. Tensions have risen sharply after a Ukrainian civilian was killed in a shooting. At the same time, the Pentagon fears that Russia could invade Ukraine today.
