Ukrainian grain tycoon killed in shelling

One of Ukraine's richest businesspersons has been killed in a massive Russian shelling of the southern city of Mykolaiv.

His name was Vadatursky, 74. He and his wife died when a Russian missile hit their home.

According to the Mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sehkevych, this was one of the heaviest bombings in the city so far. Damages have occurred to hotels, a sports complex, two schools, a service station, and many housing complexes.

The advisor to the Ukrainian President Voldomyr Zelensky's office believed that Moscow had deliberately targeted the business people. The advisor said that one of the missiles had hit the businessmen's bedroom and added that this "leaves no doubt" it was being guided.
