Interacting with startup entrepreneurs in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that January 16 would be celebrated as 'National Start-up Day' every year. The Prime Minister congratulated all the startup entrepreneurs, as well as the creative youth, who are raising the Indian flag in the world of startups. Modi said the decision was taken to celebrate the startup's culture in remote parts of the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today interacted with 150 startup entrepreneurs in the country. It was attended by startups from various sectors including agriculture, health, entrepreneurship, leisure, industry, security, technology-based financial services, environment, etc. These startups were divided into 6 working groups. The purpose of the dialogue was to understand how startups can contribute to national needs by implementing innovative initiatives in the country.
