META's layoff wreaks havoc; job lost two days after joining

In the past few days, Facebook's parent company Meta has been laid off on a large scale. Many Indians have also lost their jobs due to layoffs in the company.

Mark Zuckerberg-led company Meta has issued a decree to lay off more than 11,000 employees in one stroke.

Among the employees laid off in META is Himanshu V, an Indian youth. The mountain of sorrow is so broken on Himanshu that he was fired from the job just two days after joining. Himanshu has shared his grief on LinkedIn after being fired and explained why he is shocked and upset by what happened to him. Himanshu has said that he went to Canada to join META and joined the office, but just two days later, his journey with META ended as he suffered massive layoffs.

Himanshu further wrote, 'I am with all those facing a difficult situation right now. Now, what about me? I don't have any ideas. Now I am waiting for what happens next. Please let me know if you come across any hiring or post for software engineers in Canada or India. This emotional post of Himanshu is now becoming increasingly viral on social media.

Himanshu is not the only one who has fallen victim to the layoffs of Meta and Twitter.

Facebook's parent company Meta has laid off 13 percent or about 11,000 employees. In a letter to employees on Wednesday, the company's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, said that the decision had to be taken due to the declining earnings and the ongoing crisis in the technology industry. Regarding the layoffs, Zuckerberg said, "Unfortunately, it has not been as I expected." Earlier, billionaire businessman Elon Musk had shown a massive exit of employees there after the acquisition of Twitter. Last week Twitter laid off nearly 50 percent of its 7500 employees. Musk has indicated that there may be many more big changes in Twitter in the future.
