India's largest carmaker company Maruti Suzuki India (MSI), finalize its new manufacturing site, which is in Haryana. On Friday, the company completed all the allotment processes of an 800-acre site located at IMT Kharkhodain Sonipat Industrial with Haryana State Industrial And Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (HSIIDC).
The new plants' first phase capacity for manufacturing is 2.5 Lakh by 2025, subject to administration approvals.
Maruti Suzuki India also disclosed that – "For the first phase investment would go over rupees 11,000 crores, and the site will have space for capacity expansion to include more manufacturing plants in the future".
