England won the World Cup title:-2022





The final match of the World Cup 2022 was played between Pakistan and England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne. England won the toss and decided to bowl first. Pakistan scored 137 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. Gave a target of 138 to England.


England did not start well. Shaheen Afridi bowled the hero of the previous match Alex Hales for 1 run in the first over itself. Haris Rauf dismissed Philip Salt for 10 runs in the fourth over. In the sixth over, he gave a big blow by dismissing Jos Buttler. He was sent to the pavilion for 26 runs.



Talking about batting, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan looked weak in front of England bowlers. Sam Karan gave the first blow to the team by dismissing Mohammad Rizwan for 15 runs. Adil Rashid dismissed Mohammad Haris for 8 runs in the 8th over. Adil Rashid sent Babar Azam to the pavilion in the 12th over. He was dismissed after scoring 32 runs off 28 balls. Ben Stokes sent Iftikhar Ahmed to the pavilion in the 13th over. He returned to the pavilion on a duck.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 137 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, England achieved the target with one over remaining for the loss of 5 wickets. England's 24-year-old fast bowler Sam Curran was adjudged Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament. Sam Curran took 3 wickets for 12 runs in his quota of four overs in the final.


Jos Buttler's England team defeated Pakistan in the final of the T20 World Cup and won the title. Along with this, England has also settled the 30 years old account with Pakistan. Pakistan defeated England in the final of the 1992 ODI World Cup and forced them to return empty-handed. Now England has returned Pakistan empty handed from Melbourne.
