According to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, American drone flights over the Baltic Sea indicate direct US involvement in a fight with Russia.
After being intercepted by Russian jet planes, an American drone plummeted into the sea last week.
"It is fairly evident what these drones are doing, and their objective is not at all a benign mission to secure the safety of ships in international seas," Peskov said in a television interview, according to Interfax.
He also added, "In fact, we're talking about the direct engagement of these drone operators in the battle, and against us."
