Arsenal make a 'complicated' midfield decision as Bernardo Silva sends a revealing transfer message

Our morning roundup features the latest Arsenal transfer news, including updates on a decision from Youri Tielemens, Lysandro Martinez, and Bernardo Silva.

Arsenal took their summer signing total to four on Monday after Gabriel Jesus was confirmed as a gunner, signing a £45million deal from Manchester City. He follows Matt Turner, Fabio Vieira, and Marquinhos at the club ahead of the 2022–23 campaign, but more are likely to come. Mikel Arteta is eager to add more depth to his squad so expect more reports regarding reinforcements across the team.

Youri Tielemans has been a long-term target for Arsenal, and a deal could be well underway with the Belgian entering the final year of his contract this summer. A new target has also emerged in Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, but the Leicester City man reportedly remains a priority.

Speaking on the Que Golazo podcast, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano discussed Arsenal's hunt for a new midfielder and Milinkovic Sevic. Romano said, "I mentioned some of these names. Milinkovic Sevic is always mentioned in the Italian press, but Lazio wants €75-80 million for Milinkovic Sevic, so it isn't very easy. Me. Sure Tielemann is a good opportunity as he is out of contract next summer. He is not looking to extend his Leicester contract, so Arsenal are exploring that possibility today than Milinkovic Savic."
