Any deadly assist from China to Russia would come at a high price: The White House

According to White House national security advisor Jake Sullivan, China has not taken any steps towards offering deadly assistance that would aid Russia in its invasion of Ukraine, and the United States has made it plain behind closed doors that such a move would have catastrophic repercussions.

"Beijing will have to make its own judgements about how it continues, whether it gives military help, but if it goes down that route, it will come at serious consequences to China," Sullivan told CNN's "State of the Union" programme.
