Yemen destroys UAE-backed missiles

While Israeli Prime Minister Isaac Hazareg was on a historic visit to the United Arab Emirates, an intercontinental ballistic missile fired by Yemen's Huthi militant group was intercepted by UAE air defense forces on Monday, the country's defense ministry said.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a crowd of 2,000 people, the defense ministry said in a statement. The UAE Air Force and Coalition Command were able to destroy the missile launcher after searching for the site of the missile launch in Yemen, the ministry said.

The ministry also released a video of the intercontinental ballistic missile launch at al-Jawf in Yemen, which was destroyed at 12.50pm local time.
