Indian Ambassador to Palestine Mukul Arya has reportedly passed away. Arya's body was found at the Palestinian embassy in Ramallah. This information was given by the Foreign Minister of India S Jaishankar himself.
The exact cause of death of Mukul Arya has not been revealed yet. The Palestinian leadership also mourned the death of Mukul Arya on Sunday. Palestinian Foreign Minister Dr. Riyal Al Maliki expressed his condolences to his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar on the demise of Arya. Condolences were also extended to the bereaved families.

"We are in touch with the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to hand over Mukul Arya's body to India for cremation," the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Mukul Arya was a 2008 batch Indian Foreign Service officer. He was also stationed at the Indian embassies in Kabul and Moscow for some time. He also served as the Indian Permanent Representative to UNESCO in Paris. Apart from this, Arya also had experience working in the headquarters of the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi.
